Never miss a name on air.
Sourced pronunciation sheets for Division I basketball games. Each name comes straight from the school, so you can say it the way they do. Rosters are added as schools sync.
Schools use RosterSync free, and are credited on every sheet. Paid plans for announcers are coming soon.
Same team, same last name, said two ways. Both clips are Iowa's own.
How a name gets its check
The school publishes it
On a player bio, a roster page, or through the link we send its communications office.
Name pronunciation: duh-RON RIP-ee
We check it, then it lands on your sheet
The words must match the school's page exactly and belong to the right player. No AI earns a ✓. It lands with a footnote to its source.
One page. Both teams. Every name labeled.
Printable, with a CSV for your board op. Rosters come from the schools' own sites on the day you print.

Sample sheet from rosters as of Sep 28, 2026. The school lookup below reads today's data.
Why a source beats a guess
3.5% of ACC men's players had a pronunciation published on their 2026–27 school bio: 10 players across 18 teams, checked by hand in September. Most names have no published pronunciation yet, so a sheet has to say which ones are sourced and which are not.
44–59% of hard names came out wrong when AI wrote the respelling, in our test of 300 names checked against official guides, and every one sounded equally sure. A ✓ here is copied word for word from a school's page instead.
How we tested
We compared 300 AI-written respellings from our own earlier database with official pronunciation guides. Between 44% and 59% did not match.

Straight answers
Where do the pronunciations come from?
From the schools: player bio pages, roster pages, audio on those pages, and what communications staff send us through their team's link. Each one is footnoted on the sheet.
Which games are covered?
Division I men's and women's basketball games. Each sheet uses a school's official roster as of the day you print. Rosters are added as each school syncs, so a team may say "not synced yet" until its roster is read. The school lookup shows where each team stands.
How do I get in?
RosterSync is in invite-only beta. Request access above and we'll email you when your spot opens, before the season starts.
What will it cost?
Paid plans for announcers and stations are coming soon, and we haven't published pricing yet. Schools stay free.
Do schools pay anything?
No. Schools use RosterSync for free. You answer once for your roster, and your office is credited as the source on every sheet that uses your names.
Tip-off is Nov 1.
